Step into the wild and discover the magic of nature at our Forest School Rewilding School Holiday Workshop! Designed especially for children, this immersive outdoor experience invites young adventurers to reconnect with the natural world through hands-on learning, creativity, and teamwork.
Through bushcraft, nature-based games, tool use, and creative construction, your child will enjoy a fun-filled day of real-world learning — no Wi-Fi required.
Let them discover the joy of mud on their boots, leaves in their hair, and the freedom to roam wild.
In this workshop, children will:
Explore the bush and learn about local wildlife, plants, and natural habitats.
Learn to use real tools safely
Build and construct
Learn bushcraft and bush survival skills
Nature connection games
Eco art & craft
Our team of highly experienced Forest School educators will guide and support your child’s learning journey, helping them grow into confident, curious, and capable young explorers. Through hands-on experiences, children are taught how to assess and take safe, age-appropriate risks in the bush. Along the way, they’ll deepen their understanding of the natural environment and discover the wonders of native wildlife in a way that is both meaningful and memorable.
The forest school is held at Gresswell Forest Reserve in Bundoora.
Forest School Melbourne is an all-weather outdoor program, so you need to make sure you bring appropriate weather protection and clothing. Our program will only be cancelled in the event of an extreme weather warning; fire, storm, high temperatures and severe wind.
