In this 2-hour, hands-on outdoor science session, children explore Parramatta Park’s riverbanks and open spaces to uncover the clever ways plants spread and survive. They’ll search for seeds and observe how wind, water and animals help plants journey far from home.
Through simple experiments and creative exploration, children will test how different seeds move, investigate why shape matters, and design their own “super seed” inspired by what they’ve discovered.

This program is suitable for children aged 5 – 12 years.
